Herby Vegetable & Lime Juice

I drink a green juice every morning. It’s a crucial part of my routine, my daily nutrition, my attempts to detoxify daily and to me healing my body and getting healthy. When I became ill, green juices are what helped me turn my health around.

This green juice is one of my favourites. It has a rich vegetable goodness to it while offering a bit of sweetness and some morning zing from the lime. This juice tastes so amazing that that I am always sad when I get to my last drop. I am sure you will feel the same once you try it.

This juice is supremely good for you, with the spinach offering lots of iron, the celery giving you plenty of antioxidants and support against inflammation. The real stars of this juice for me are the parsley and the lime, which give you so many nutrients including vitamin C, K and B6, potassium and folic acid. Drink this daily to help your skin glow on the outside and your body heal on the inside.

Using organic and un-waxed fruit and vegetables will enhance the nutrients and reduce toxicity in your system.

ingredients
2 apples
2 celery stalks
2 handfuls of spinach
1 inch of cucumber
1 small handful of parsley
I lime, peeled

method
1. put all the ingredients through a juicer
2. pour into a glass and garnish with lime zest.
